“Wall street drop out + buttery smooth rhymes = Drake but smarter.”-SayWhatsGood.
A few months have past since I checked my myspace. I got a friend request from Anthem. To my surprise his music is really really dope. If you like Drake’s style and sound, but think the dude is corny. Choose Anthem instead. You can check out his myspace HERE or his facebook page HERE. Stop by and show him some love. No mixtape yet, I’ll keep ya updated.
Anthem already earned a college degree, now he is chasing his American Dream.
“A few months ago, I began a journey. I left behind Wall St. for a dream. Some say I’m crazy for bucking the trend. Others hear the music and say I’d be crazy if I didn’t. All I know is I’m here to make good music and connect to anyone who will listen. I am here to stay…I am Anthem”-Anthem.
Here are a couple tracks to enjoy/download. Spread the word!
“This past week has seen a flurry of new art showcased as part of the festivities at Art Basel. Among the pieces garnering the most talk and praise was that of notable artist Barry McGee with his “99 Bottle” installation. As you would imagine, 99 bottles were each brought together, featuring the iconic style of the San Francisco-based artist. The piece eventually sold for $100,000 USD.”
One of my top 5 favorite artists releases a brand new mixtape. Stay tuned for Lasers. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

“You can never be too old for toys, especially if you’ve got the creative itch and a little depth to your imagination. The Kidrobot “Munnyworld” exhibit put on at the Eloquent Delinquents Gallery in downtown New York this past week showcased some amazing “toys” designed by artists from all over the world. The exhibit was based around the popular figures called “Munny’s” released by Kidrobot, which also produces similar figures and carries a striking clothing line . The figures are purchased blank and encourage owners to customize them in any way possible. A Munny, which has become quite the collector’s item, can be bought by anyone, but the best of the best have ended up here in New York. Here is an article detailing the show and a collection of pictures.”

Sup Ya’ll. I figured for my first post here over at TITAD…yeah….titad, I would post something that is off the chain. This little didy is Travis Barker’s touch to Drake’s “Forever”. It’s pretty sick, so hold onto your ears and make sure they don’t get blown away.
Alright, I want to shed some light on this dude from Henderson, Nevada. Nique. On his way to his living his American Dream. Chances are you’ve never heard of him. I’ve only seen his stuff at one or two sites. I downloaded his mixtape and 3 weeks later, I still find myself listening to several of his songs. Nique has a wide variety of production styles on his mixtape. His flow is similar to Drake’s rappin style. The kid has a lot of potential. I’d like to see him switch up his flow every now n then, add some inflection to his voice and whatnot, but this kid definitely deserves your ears, go get his free mixtape. I look forward to new material (ie. Show You)…he’s only going to improve.
“I especially liked “Champ” – a motivating uptempo track – and in contrast the laid-back “Stars” f/ Slik D. But a standout track that caught my eye is one I extracted for individual download above – “Cut My Check” featuring fellow Nevada MC, Marion Write. They go in at break-neck pace over another addicting Bangladesh beat. Overall, you’ll be impressed with a mix of one-liners and storytelling lyrics throughout Framed And Unfocused.” -GoWhereHipHop
After a quick intro, Nique goes in hard “Stuntin’”. Which is then followed up 2 songs later by another one of my favorites “Purple”. He defininatley brings it with the lyrics, especially in “Embrace It.”
“Who say they better than me, you better check ‘em. Best in the Galaxy, yes but not Beckham.”
Go get his mixtape. Listen. And let us know what ya think.
